Real scaffolding projects delivered across South Wales
From record-breaking crash decks to heritage church restorations, Trust Scaffolding has delivered hundreds of scaffolding projects across South Wales since 2016. Here are some of the projects we are most proud of — each one demonstrating a different aspect of what we can do.
1,200 m² Crash Deck, Cardiff
Our biggest project to date — a 1,200 m² T-Deck crash deck spanning multiple plots of a Cardiff residential development, completed in 2025 and signed off by a CISRS-qualified supervisor.
Newport Library
A full-envelope, high-security scaffolding solution for the Newport Library landmark restoration — providing safe access for multi-trade masonry and window refurbishments in a busy city-centre environment, developed in direct cooperation with Newport City Council.
Grand Hotel, Swansea
Delivering a full-facade scaffolding solution on Swansea's High Street — one of the city's busiest thoroughfares — requiring precision engineering, advanced pedestrian safety management, and close coordination with the local authority, while keeping the Grand Hotel fully operational throughout.
Cardiff Airport
Providing rapid-response, high-security access for critical infrastructure works at Cardiff Airport. Our team demonstrated full compliance with stringent airport security protocols and individual security vetting — carried out without disrupting international arrivals or flight operations.
Persimmon Homes, Creigiau
A comprehensive scaffolding and T-Deck safety solution for Persimmon Homes, supporting the rapid delivery of 1,500 new-build homes in Creigiau, Cardiff — delivered by Trust Scaffolding as a long-term supply chain partner.
Defynnog Church
Specialist heritage scaffolding for the restoration of Defynnog Church near Brecon — requiring precision engineering to protect the church's world-renowned 5,600-year-old yew tree, preserve the Grade I listed building fabric, and meet the strict non-invasive access standards demanded by heritage conservation guidelines.
Gestamp, Llanelli
Rapid installation of 400 linear metres of industrial edge protection and extensive T-Deck safety platforms for Gestamp's major automotive manufacturing facility in Llanelli — delivering total facility protection across roof level, mezzanines, and internal working areas in a live production environment.
11 Schools Summer Programme
Successfully delivering complex access solutions across 11 separate educational sites within a strict 6-week summer holiday window — multiple crews, coordinated logistics, and every site strike-ready before the new term commenced.
DVLA, Swansea
Delivering high-security commercial scaffolding for the DVLA headquarters in Swansea — one of the largest government employers in Wales. This project required seamless integration with active facility management protocols, controlled perimeter access, and individual security vetting to ensure zero disruption to ongoing government operations.
Rolls-Royce, Bristol
Commercial scaffolding at the Rolls-Royce aerospace facility in Bristol — a world-class precision engineering environment producing jet engines for civil and military aviation. Works were delivered to strict FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention protocols, with full-containment scaffolding protecting sensitive machinery throughout.
St Cadoc's Hospital, Caerleon
Delivering critical maintenance access for St Cadoc's Hospital in Caerleon while ensuring zero disruption to patient care and clinical services. Our methodology integrated stringent noise management, dust suppression, and infection prevention controls — protecting the sensitive healthcare environment and the patients and clinical staff within it.
Persimmon Homes, Bridgend
An ongoing, multi-phase scaffolding and T-Deck safety decking programme for Persimmon Homes across Bridgend — a total package of external access and internal fall arrest, delivered as a strategic supply chain partner to one of the UK's largest house builders.
Boots, Llanelli
Providing seamless shopfront maintenance access for Boots Llanelli while ensuring 100% operational continuity. Our scaffold design prioritised safe customer ingress and egress, incorporating a dedicated pedestrian walkway and full Highways Authority compliance — allowing the store to remain fully open for trade throughout the project duration.
